 1928 Colt 1/2 Scale Tripod

We are proud to have manufactured the latest in the Micro-Beltfed line up of accessories. This miniature mount has never been made before and is solely designed and made by Lakeside Machine. It  is a half scale version of the famous Colt 1928 tripod. The model 1917a1 water cooled model fits nicely in the cradle. The wood ammo box is fully functional and slides in the mounting bracket on the left side of the mount and feeds the gun directly out of the box. The gun is able to move in any direction and the box will follow and feed from any position. The mount is fully functional with operating T&E mechanism and fully locking swivel and elevation clamps. Each leg is fully adjustable and can be folded up just like a full size mount. The mount pictured below is a prototype mount and is slightly different than our production design. The production model will have a set of bronze center castings as well as the rear leg ID plate with leather leg strap.

Any 1917 1/2 scale owners, new or old,  may upgrade to this mount at any time. The 1928 Colt mount will also fit the 1919A4 and M37 models if desired.  Retail price is not known at this time as tooling and molds for the production mount have not yet been finalized. Our advice is to order the 1917a1 model Micro-Beltfed as it is available now and upgrade to this mount at the later time.
